An investment firm co-led by Power 50 member Jeff Lederer bought Myron last year with the intent of revitalizing the flagging distributorship. While 2023 sales are estimated as flat, Lederer says a retrained sales team, improved tech stack, reimagined customer acquisition strategy, and a focus on serving medium-sized to large businesses is starting to bear fruit: revenue was up year-over-year in Q1 2024. The company also bought a Germany-based distributor in February. “I’m proud of how quickly we turned this business around,” Lederer says. “We’re creating a diamond in the rough. There is so much opportunity.”
