Despite an 10.9% revenue drop in 2023, Gemline holds steady on this year’s list. The supplier – which was named a 2024 Counselor Best Place to Work – attributed its decline to softness in the technology and finance markets, plus a drinkware downturn due to competition from the trendy Stanley brand. The company is doubling down on sustainability, reincorporating as a Public Benefit Company in May, adding carbon footprint data to bestselling items and featuring Aware traceability technology in several bag lines. Gemline is also beefing up retail brand partnerships, adding products from Igloo, for instance.
