Teresa Fudenberg, the 2023 Bess Cohn Humanitarian of the Year, makes her debut on the Counselor Power 50, in part thanks to her strong thought leadership and vocal advocacy surrounding sustainability and charitable giving. Storm Creek, a 2024 Counselor Best Place to Work, has made waves by committing to donate at least $5 million in charity by 2030 and focusing on recycled textiles in its apparel lines.

The Eagan, MN-based supplier – which Fudenberg runs in tandem with husband Doug Jackson – recently became an official bluesign system partner, pledging to use only bluesign-approved fabrics by the end of 2025. Storm Creek, a 1% for the Planet member, continues to add new giveback programs, including a March campaign for Women’s History Month where Storm Creek donated 10% of sales from all women-owned distributors to local chapters of Girls on the Run International.

A proponent of the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) business method, Fudenberg and Storm Creek were recently featured on an EOS Worldwide video, explaining how the system has been a differentiator for the company. “The growth that we’ve experienced has been phenomenal,” Fudenberg says about implementing EOS into the company. “We needed to break through that ceiling, and we finally did, and we’ve probably more than doubled in the number of employees, and we’ve certainly more than doubled in our annual sales.”
