Utilize Live Streaming Platforms For Your Business
From virtual showrooms to product tutorials and more-- boost your business presence with these key Live Streaming Platforms:
Periscope is a live video streaming app for iOS and Android. Owned by Twitter, the platform allows users to share live broadcast videos from their mobile phones. Broadcasters can also receive feedback from watchers, who can provide real-time comments and “hearts” to show they approve. Additionally, scopers can share live streams on Twitter. After completing a broadcast, you can have the streams available indefinitely, opt to have them automatically expire after 24 hours or delete them at any time.
With Facebook Live, iOS and Android users work within their Facebook apps to record a live broadcast. Once broadcasts conclude, users can leave the livestream on their profiles for future view – or delete the posts. Tips for using Live include: 1. Broadcast for at least 10 minutes; this increases the chances of getting more viewers. 2. Encourage your audience to follow you so they get notifications the next time you go live. 3. Write an attention-grabbing broadcast description that lets people know what the broadcast is about – and compels them to watch.
YouTube Live Mobile Streaming: Over the summer, YouTube announced it will soon be offering a new live streaming service through its mobile app. The platform will feature all the elements of regular videos, YouTube says. Users will be able to search for streams, find them through recommendations and playlists, and protect them from unauthorized uses. “You won’t need to open anything else (other than the app) – just hit the big red capture button right there in the corner, take or select a photo to use as a thumbnail, and you can broadcast live to your fans and chat in near real time,” Kurt Wilms, YouTube product lead, immersive experiences, wrote in a blog.
