The Best Way to Remove a Complex Logo
The most efficient method requires a double-bladed disposable razor, a curved surface and a pair of tweezers. Turn the garment inside-out and place the front of the logo against a curved surface.
By using the curved surface, you’ll only be able to cut a small portion of threads at a time, which ensures you don’t damage the garment.
Rake the razor across the back of the logo gently but firmly. With practice, you can safely cut all the way to the backing.
Flip the garment and pick out the top threads with tweezers. I’ve successfully removed quarter-inch letters from a T-shirt using this method.
One other note: The razors get dull very fast. It usually takes one razor per logo.
