Vapor Apparel (asi/93396), a promotional products supplier based in South Carolina, has partnered with nonprofit Share Our Suzy Lowcountry to help promote breast cancer awareness and provide financial support to patients ahead of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.

Share Our Suzy Lowcountry is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports breast cancer patients by helping with everyday expenses not covered by insurance – from transportation to childcare to wigs – to allow those patients to focus on recovery instead of finances during treatment.

A portion of purchases with the pink breast cancer ribbon or the Share Our Suzy logo will go back to the nonprofit.

Through the partnership, 5% of every pink shirt purchase made with Vapor Apparel will go directly to the nonprofit, along with 5% of purchases that include a pink ribbon add-on or Share Our Suzy logo add-on.

“We believe in the power of giving back and are honored to support such an important cause,” said Jackson Burnett, Vapor Apparel founder and president. “Partnering with Share Our Suzy Lowcountry allows us to contribute to a cause that affects so many lives and helps provide the necessary support for patients.”

The Lowcountry branch of Share Our Suzy is the second location of the organization, which also serves breast cancer patients in the Columbia, SC, area. The nonprofit honors the spirit of South Carolina photographer Suzy McGrane, who lost her life to breast cancer but spent much time working with a local center to raise funds to support cancer patients, much in the way Share Our Suzy does today.

“The funds raised through this initiative will help cover critical costs, enabling patients to focus on their recovery with one less worry,” says Share Our Suzy Lowcountry representative Mason Ward.

Vapor Apparel’s campaign will run through October 31, 2024.
