Leveraging its extensive global sourcing network, BAMKO delved into PPE harder, faster and earlier than most, which played a big part in the firm’s engineering of the greatest year-over-year revenue gain (78.5%) of any Top 40 distributor on this year’s list. Program business was also key, as BAMKO made the most of lucrative opportunities with clients in everything from the gig economy to technology markets. The company is also rapidly expanding in Canada and continues to add top talent at the sales and executive levels. Just this summer, the distributor announced that founder and president Philip Koosed was promoted to chief strategy officer of Superior Group of Companies (BAMKO’s parent company). CFO/COO Jake Himelstein was named president of the company. Executive leaders with Superior said Koosed will still play an important role in guiding BAMKO.
