After achieving sales growth for the first time in five years in 2019, COVID-19 sent Summit back to the drawing board. The company didn’t heavily invest in PPE (which accounted for only 2% of sales), and ultimately suffered a 28.3% drop last year. A familiar refrain throughout the industry, the distributorship attributes the decline to its major clients being greatly affected by the pandemic.
