Even as it’s known for its major presence in sports, BDA relied on its diversified market portfolio to help keep sales down only 3.4%. The distributor has a strong presence in the gaming and alcohol markets – both of which thrived during last year’s lockdowns. In addition, 14% of revenue came from PPE sales. The company doubled down on digital, hiring former T-Mobile exec Steve Gomez as CIO last summer.
