Counselor estimates that Cimpress increased sales about 8% in calendar year 2021. The Ireland-based firm is the parent company of Vistaprint and former Top 40 distributor National Pen. Both those businesses have grown sales, but overall Cimpress has struggled with profitability, posting a net loss in its 2021 fiscal year and a $72 million net loss for the first three months of 2022.

Last year, Cim­press made headlines by acquiring Crello, a do-it-yourself digital design plat­form that competes with graphic design platform Canva. It also formed a new business division, Vista, which includes Vistaprint, Crello and Vista x Wix. The last of those is a collaboration with Wix – an Israeli-based software company that enables users to create websites through drag-and-drop tools.
