In its second year on the Top 40, the Fredericktown, MO-based headwear supplier jumped seven spots higher, thanks to a 27.5% year-over-year increase in sales that the company attributes to its focus on exceptional customer service. The last two years have been something of a C-suite shuffle at the company, chief among them Mark Gammon taking the helm as CEO. Cap America is also building out its USA-made knit department with the May acquisition of Minnesota-based custom knitwear company Wear-A-Knit.
