Delta Apparel has been on a winning streak. The pub­licly traded apparel supplier increased total company sales in its fiscal year 2021 by 14.6%; since the company doesn’t break out promo-specific figures, Coun­selor estimates that Delta increased its promo industry sales by the same amount. Building on that, Delta Apparel started 2022 with record-breaking sales for the first quarter of the calendar year (its fiscal second quar­ter). Strong gains in the firm’s Delta Group division, which includes business with the promo products/decorated apparel industry, helped pro­pel the performance. Delta Apparel has also hired new executive talent, naming Matt Miller president of the Delta Group division and Simone Walsh chief financial officer.
