Supply chain disruption and a slow Q1 in 2021 resulted in a year-to-year sales drop of 11% for Tekweld. Last year the company leveraged huge demand for sanitizer and PPE, which accounted for a quarter of the company’s 2020 sales. All told, the supplier fell eight places on the list – the most of any company on this year’s Top 40. Still, CEO Scott Slade says, “We’re roaring back this year though with numbers blowing away anything we’ve seen in the past.”
