For past Top 40 rankings, Cimpress didn’t share promo sales and Counselor estimated revenue. But this year, the Ireland-based parent firm of Vistaprint and former Top 40 distributor National Pen provided feedback on financials. That led to a restating of past years’ sales tallies. Based on the newly provided data, Cimpress’ distributor-side North American calendar-year 2022 promo sales rose 14.4% to $283 million, but the firm still dropped five places in the rankings based on the sales reevaluation. Also part of Cimpress, Top 40 supplier Goldstar’s (asi/73295) revenue was not included in the $283 million figure. (Goldstar’s revenue stands alone on the supplier rankings.)

A publicly traded company with business divisions beyond Vista and National Pen, Cimpress reported in July that its total full fiscal year 2023 sales increased about 6.6% to $3.07 billion. But over the fiscal year, which concluded June 30, the company experienced a loss of $185.9 million, or -$7.08 per share, amid restructuring expenses and other factors.
