Don’t let the almost 40% drop in sales throw you: Derek Block, the founder/CEO of the OH-headquartered company, made the decision last year to sell off one of the company’s business channels to another Top 40 entity, which explains the drop from $92 million in sales in 2021 to $56 million last year. Already this year, Block, who’s a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list, notes that Touchstone is “up 15% conservatively,” with profit margins up 8%. The company also announced that it transitioned from a 25,000-square-foot warehouse to a brand-new, state-of-the-art 400,000-square-foot building that now houses operations, warehousing and fulfillment services in Fairfield, OH. Touchstone also moved into a new office headquarters, opening what the company described as its BrandEQ Design Studio in downtown Old Mason, north of Cincinnati, inside a newly renovated, Art Deco-inspired, circa 1939 city hall building.
