Company Culture: People love working for Arrow Emblems (asi/36901) because of the culture, benefits, scheduling flexibility and open communication. Employees describe the environment as a highly collaborative, teamwork-oriented culture that also emphasizes transparency and feedback. “Team members are always willing to offer help, and go beyond the expected,” wrote one employee on the Best Places to Work survey.
Added another: “I appreciate being able to work independently on diverse tasks knowing I have a strong team that's supportive of each member.”
COVID Changes: Even before the pandemic, Arrow Emblems allowed employees to work both in the office and from home. Since then, the company has reduced its in-office requirement from three to two days per week to help ensure the comfort of staffers. The supplier also understands that flexibility is key in these times, and there is plenty of leniency if an employee needs to adjust their schedule. “We don’t ask questions or push if anyone feels uncomfortable or safer with a few more at-home days,” says Adam Pajonk, operations manager.
Arrow Emblems has also been ensuring that frequent check-ins and constant communication help everyone stay engaged. The company closely tracks staff’s progress so everyone can see what their team is working on. “It keeps the spirit of productivity and connection alive,” Pajonk says.
Parting Tip: Transparency is key, says Pajonk. In the hiring process, “finding the best people means you need to give them all the info they need to understand the position and the company,” he explains. As for retaining employees, open feedback helps with both performance and job satisfaction among the staff.
