After bringing Lanco back from the brink in 2017, Stier and Miller continue to lead the combined companies of Chocolate Inn/Lanco in new directions. In September, they partnered with Mars Retail Group (asi/68888) to exclusively represent the firm’s My M&M’s line to the industry. And earlier this year they announced an additional service – a stand-alone brand and website offering apparel decoration and design services to distributors. It’s forward-thinking strategies like this and an increase in sales of more than 12% in 2018 to $55 million that helped propel the duo up six spots on this year’s list.
