In his second year on the Power 50, Shannon catapults up 13 places, thanks in part to the Power 50 members and industry pros who gave him strong influence scores. Despite pandemic challenges, Shannon led the industry’s third largest supplier to nearly 8% growth in 2020, thereby building on the apparel colossus’ status as being one of only three billion-dollar suppliers. Shannon was integral to a 2021 deal that saw private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) become the majority stakeholder in S&S – a move the company says will help fuel growth. With its robust technology platform and network of facilities built with sustainable features, S&S is a pacesetter in promo; Shannon has been essential to making it that way.
