Though he drops two slots on this year’s list, Neal Ringel and PCNA continue to make strides that go beyond the company’s 23% growth in 2022 that yielded a record high in revenue for the supplier. The company also picked up a Counselor Promo Campaign Award for Best Supplier Self-Promo. In particular, ESG has become a prime focus under Ringel’s stewardship, so much so that the CEO noted in the company’s first-ever sustainability report that 2022 “was a transformative year for sustainability at PCNA.” In addition to launching its Proud Path platform last year, the supplier updated its charter and reincorporated as a public benefit corporation (PBC) – a change that means its board of directors is now required to include considerations of PCNA’s social and environmental mission into its fiduciary responsibilities.
