Employees’ favorite perk: Flex-time and PTO. “Although we try to structure a 9 to 5 work day, we understand that there’s life outside of work,” says Vincent Nero, VP/GM of service & sales. “Also, most job functions can be executed remotely, giving employees the ability to temporarily work from home, whether it’s for a sick child or just waiting for the cable guy. Our PTO benefit is one week of PTO for every year of service. These initiatives allow us to achieve work/life balance.”

Tip for finding/retaining great staffers: “Our products and services help other companies engage and retain their employees,” Nero says. “Being experts in this arena, it’s important for us to practice what we preach. We’re constantly handing out awards, gifts and company swag. We hold quarterly employee-appreciation events where we take a half day and go offsite for team-building exercises like mini-golf, escape rooms and painting classes.”

Company culture mantra: “We’re not a group of people who work together,” Nero says. “We’re a team of individuals with different abilities, talents and experiences who are working toward the mutual success of one another and the company. We cheer each other’s successes and lift each other up during changes. Our team is strong, hardworking, encouraging and inspirational.
