TSC Apparel Partners With Charney-Run Los Angeles Apparel
Cincinnati-based TSC Apparel (asi/90518) has announced an exclusive partnership with brand Los Angeles Apparel, which is led by former American Apparel CEO and Founder Dov Charney. Through the partnership, TSC Apparel will launch a new line created by Charney’s company. “We’re thrilled for the opportunity to partner with TSC – we will walk through walls to get the customer what they need, when they need it,” said Charney, in a statement.
According to a TSC release, Charney’s new line brings back “the well-known industry basics that gained him nationwide success.” In the future, offerings will include an expanded line of products with “innovative new cuts, styles and colors.”
Charney founded Los Angeles Apparel last year and runs a 100,000-square-foot facility in south central Los Angeles. Charney’s company reportedly employs about 100 workers, who have focused on making blank T-shirts and selling them to businesses under the Los Angeles Apparel label.
“Bringing in Los Angeles Apparel gives TSC the opportunity to provide our customers with the American-made apparel option that they’re looking for, and we look forward to a successful partnership,” said Bob Winget, president of TSC Apparel.
