Tempe, AZ-based Zing Manufacturing (asi/99025) has announced the hiring of Rich Corvalan as senior vice president of sales.

With more than 13 years of experience in the promotional products industry, Corvalan most recently served as vice president of sales at Top 40 supplier Charles River Apparel (asi/44620). “The depth and breadth of the relationships Rich has established in this industry are a testament to his dedication and work ethic with his coworkers and customers,” Scott Butler, president of Zing Manufacturing, said in a press release.

Corvalan will now lead the effort to introduce and educate distributors on the products and services Zing Manufacturing offers, including the recent partnership with the S’well drinkware brand.

“Once I had the opportunity to learn about Zing’s manufacturing abilities, reputation and the distributor-focused S’well program, I knew this was something I wanted to be a part of,” Corvalan said. “The Zing team is experienced and highly focused on fast turnaround and quality product. We have the opportunity to change the way distributors feel about retail branded drinkware with the S’well line.”
