Fully Promoted Honors Franchisees at Gala

Top 40 distributor Fully Promoted (asi/384000) honored some of its top franchisees during an awards gala at its Fully Powered convention, held concurrently with The ASI Show Orlando. Two Fully Promoted franchises were inducted into the distributor’s Hall of Fame during the ceremony.

Michael Brugger, president of Fully Promoted, called the Hall of Fame the biggest honor franchise owners could achieve. “It’s the only award chosen by our franchisees who are already in our Hall of Fame,” he added.

Shafiq Mohamed

Shafiq Mohamed, owner of the Fully Promoted in Burlington, ON, was inducted into the Fully Promoted Hall of Fame.

Shafiq Mohamed, owner of the Fully Promoted in Burlington, ON, was one of the inductees. “We’ve had the franchise for five years, and it’s probably one of the best parts of our life,” he said after winning.

Mike and Becky Besaw

Mike and Becky Besaw, owners of the Wausau, WI Fully Promoted, were inducted into the Hall of Fame.

The other Hall of Fame inductees were Mike and Becky Besaw, who own the Wausau, WI, location. “This was a shock,” Becky Besaw said after winning. “But all I can say is that this is not just our award, it’s for our whole team because we couldn’t do it without them.”

Other awards of the night included the President’s Award, chosen by Brugger himself. That went to Todd and Wendy Diskin of Lenexa, KS.

Eight Fully Promoted franchises were honored for reaching or surpassing $1 million in sales in 2018 (2019 sales numbers were not finalized in time for the gala): Roger Taylor of Davie, FL; Jeff Mitchell of Forest Hill, MD; Garrick and Fred Jacobi of Meridian, ID; Todd Martinez of Albuquerque, NM; Mike and Becky Besaw of Wausau, WI; Shafiq Mohamed of Burlington, ON; Meredith Kennedy of Roseville, MN; and Jo-Anne Reeger of Conroe, TX.

Brugger congratulated all the winners, noting that their successes help the company thrive: “We’re only as strong as you, our franchisees.”

With reported 2018 North American promotional product revenue of $104.1 million, Fully Promoted ranked 19th on Counselor’s latest list of the largest distributors in the industry.
