Dennis Dion Named President of E.A. Dion
The 37-year industry veteran has also become the sole owner of the Massachusetts-based supplier.
Dennis Dion has taken over as sole owner and president of Attleboro, MA-based E.A. Dion Inc. (asi/51246).
Previously, Dennis was senior vice president of operations and co-owner, along with his brother Edward “Ted” Dion Jr., who joined the company in 1980. Their father, Edward Dion Sr., founded the custom jewelry manufacturer in 1968 under the name The Dion Manufacturing Co. Throughout the past year, Dennis has added sales and marketing management roles to his traditional duties in preparation for his brother’s upcoming retirement.
“Dion is a strong and stable custom jewelry designer and manufacturer,” Dennis said in a press release. “I look forward to developing value for our customers while creating a positive working environment for our employees.”
In addition, several other promotions have been recently made at E.A. Dion. After nearly 30 years at the company, Roland Dion has been named senior vice president of manufacturing. Melissa Carvalho has moved up the company ladder from IT manager to senior vice president of office operations. Also, Brian Bannister has been named director of scheduling and engineering, and Ann Condon was promoted from communications manager to marketing manager.
