The Counselor Awards, held last night at the Grand Ballroom at Chicago’s iconic Navy Pier, honored 11 industry executives and leaders. In addition to the Person of the Year award, taken home by The Magnet Group’s Bill Korowitz, Counselor honored 10 more promotional products professionals with individual awards. The honorees were: Michael Nick from global supplier Senator for International Person of the Year; T-Shirt Tycoon Solutions’ (asi/87000) Adam Walterscheid for Supplier Entrepreneur of the Year; Overture Premium & Promotions’ (asi/288473) Heather Sanderson for Distributor Entrepreneur of the Year; Clayton Kendall’s (asi/162968) Regina Broudy for Distributor Woman of Distinction; and Superex’s (asi/90231) Janet Trachter for Supplier Woman of Distinction.

In addition, Family Business of the Year awards were handed out to Jack Nadel International (asi/279600) and Prime Line (asi/79530), while Don Watkins from HandStands (asi/59525) took home the Bess Cohn Memorial Humanitarian Award and Walter Hill from Icon Blue (asi/229398) and Ron Ball from ASI were honored with Marvin Spike Lifetime Achievement Awards.
