AIM Smarter Hosts First National Sales Meeting
Originally slated for San Francisco, the event went virtual due to the COVID-19 crisis.
AIM Smarter LLC, a network of more than 2,200 distributor members, has successfully concluded its first national sales meeting.
Originally, the “AIM XP” event was scheduled to take place in San Francisco, but due to the impact of COVID-19, AIM pivoted and held the event virtually on June 4 and June 5. With more than 400 registrants, the event featured sessions focused on social media and technology best practices, marketing and sales strategies, content specific to meeting the demands of our new market, as well as an insightful discussion with AIM CEO Nichole Stella and ASI President and CEO Tim Andrews on the recovery and future of the industry.
“It was wonderful to see the AIM community come together on screen from every corner of the country to participate in the AIM XP event,” Stella said in a press release. “During such unprecedented times, it was our objective to provide our community a place to connect, collaborate and share best practices when navigating this new norm.”
A collaborative chat session with top AIM suppliers Gold Bond (asi/57653), Gemline (asi/56070), Goldstar (asi/73295) and BIC Graphic (asi/80840) gave AIM members the opportunity to hear about current challenges in the supply chain from a supplier perspective. AIM XP concluded with a selection of awards being delivered to AIM distributors and suppliers who best exemplify the AIM community’s core values.
“I am thrilled to see that the virtual event was a great alternative to still connect with our AIM members,” said Stacey McConnell, vice president of members services at AIM. “Building a strong community made up of distributor member professionals was a key component for this event and it was disappointing that we were not able to deliver this experience in San Francisco as planned. I can’t wait to bring everyone together in June 2021 in San Francisco to really kick this annual event off the way we intended.”
Founded in 2006, AIM is headquartered in Philadelphia. In January 2019, it was acquired by Altitude Group Plc, a publicly traded company based in the United Kingdom. AIM recently expanded into the U.K.
