Alphabroder Revamps Website

The Top 40 supplier said the improvements will make for a superior customer experience.

With e-commerce accelerating throughout the promotional products industry, Top 40 supplier alphabroder (asi/34063) has made several updates to its website.

The new alphabroder.com includes redesigned home page navigation, quicker access to account information, enhanced product pages, an upgraded shopping cart and a more intuitive checkout.

As part of the updates, account details are now located in one convenient place so users can view their account profile, order status and invoices instantly. There are multiple product images, much larger than before, and clearly defined buttons for downloads, samples and product sell sheets that display correctly on all devices, the supplier said. Additionally, the new alphabroder.com features an upgraded live chat integration with quicker access to industry experts.

“The alphabroder.com site is central to how our customers run their businesses, so we’re making it even more powerful and easier to use with our biggest update ever,” Cecile Pavot, web product manager at alphabroder, said in a press release. “We’re thrilled to see the incredible ways our distributor and decorator customers are taking advantage of our new navigation and enhanced product pages — they’re easily finding product categories, brands, resources and more.”

To help decrease the threat of shopping cart abandonment, alphabroder has improved its website’s shopping cart feature. For example, users can now choose what distribution center product ships from, search for or remove specific items in the cart, and view swatches. Plus, order discounts are now clearly displayed, eliminating any confusion.

“Checking out is faster and more convenient on the new alphabroder.com,” Pavot said. “The cart’s look and feel are cleaner and more organized, saving valuable time for our customers. The reconfigured interface follows a more traditional checkout journey.”

The alphabroder.com design team also updated other top-used areas of the site. The Digital Lounge portal has been improved so users can more easily find and leverage curated assets like videos, grab-and-go social posts and lifestyle product images. Featured Shops helps users create sales presentations faster with one-stop destinations for styles, industry trends, new brands, occasions and more. And TMStudios makes marketing even easier with curated storyboards, flyers and Lookbooks, alphabroder said.

With reported 2019 North American promotional product revenue of $1.7 billion, alphabroder ranked second on Counselor’s most-recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
