Top 40 supplier SanMar (asi/84863) announced this week that it has opened a new warehouse and distribution center in Phoenix. This is SanMar’s eighth warehouse across the country and gives the apparel supplier increased capacity to service distributors in the southwest region.

“We pride ourselves on offering the most on-hand inventory in the industry, with the quickest ship times to our customers,” said Jeremy Lott, president of SanMar, which now has more than 4.4 million square feet of inventory space in its eight warehouses. “The addition of the Phoenix warehouse allows us to be even more efficient in fulfilling customer orders throughout the Southwest, while offering later ship times for one-day shipping to our customers in Southern California.”

SanMar’s Phoenix facility consists of 326,000 square feet of space and it will carry the company’s top styles, best sellers, new items and more. Distributors can experience products first-hand in the warehouse’s showroom and place orders at onsite kiosks. Local customers are also able to pick up orders at the facility between 8:00am and 6:00pm Monday through Friday.

In addition to the new Phoenix warehouse, SanMar has distribution centers in Seattle; Reno, NV; Dallas; Cincinnati; Jacksonville, FL; Robbinsville, NJ; and Minneapolis. The company ranks as the second-largest supplier in the North American ad specialty industry, with a Counselor-estimated annual revenue of $500 million.
