Four Seasons Landscaping Touts 'Lawn and Order' Merch

The Philadelphia small business that went viral after becoming the site of a Trump campaign press conference is selling T-shirts, stickers and other merch.

After hosting a surprise press conference for President Trump’s campaign over the weekend, a northeast Philadelphia landscaping company is ready to “Make America Rake Again” and promote “Lawn and Order” with a line of merch capitalizing on its unexpected moment in the national spotlight.

On Saturday, Nov. 7, the president tweeted about a “Lawyers News Conference Four Seasons, Philadelphia. 11:00 a.m.” before issuing a correction shortly thereafter to clarify that he meant Four Seasons Total Landscaping and not the luxury downtown hotel near the city’s convention center, where votes from last week’s presidential election were being counted.

The mix-up was met with much glee online from those who opposed Trump, and as is so often the case with viral news, it sparked a wave of moment merch to commemorate the event. One designer created a tee (available in bright orange) that depicts Philadelphia Flyers unsettlingly off-kilter mascot Gritty (himself a viral hit since joining the team in 2018) riding a lawnmower. The shirt reads: “Welcome to Four Seasons Total Landscaping Philadelphia, Pa.” In smaller script writing below, it adds: “Not the Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia.”

By Monday, Nov. 9, Four Seasons Landscaping had added a merch tab to its own website, populating it with stickers, T-shirts and a hoodie. The apparel design was fairly subdued with a vague campaign feel to it: including a small American flag and the number 92 (the year the company was established) above and below the company name.

4 Seasons Sticker

This tongue-in-cheek sticker is being sold for $5 on Four Seasons Total Landscaping’s website.

4 Seasons Hoodie

Four Seasons Total Landscaping was selling this campaign-themed hoodie on its website after becoming the site for a Trump campaign press conference.

In a tweet announcing that its merch tab was live, Four Seasons noted that the shirts were “as worn at ‘the’ press conference.”

Four Seasons Total Landscaping is a woman-owned small business that does grounds maintenance for a wide range of commercial businesses, including condo complexes and the Philadelphia International Airport, according to its website. The company noted on its social media that the items available on its website were only the first round of merch that would be available. The firm said it was working with the same local printer it’s always used to print its shirts and that coordinating the new merch has taken some time.

Later in the day, Four Seasons had added "Lawn and Order" face masks to its website, and on social media, the company posted a "properly sized" photo of its facility that remote workers could use as a Zoom background.
