Mark Ziskind of HALO Retires
An industry veteran, he’s spent the last few years as divisional president of HALO’s CSE and CMG business units.
Promotional products industry veteran Mark Ziskind is retiring from Top 40 distributor HALO Branded Solutions (asi/356000), after spending nearly three years there as divisional president for HALO’s CSE and CMG business units.
Ziskind joined HALO in January 2018 after it acquired Caliendo Savio Enterprise (CSE), the distributorship where he worked as chief operating officer for 21 years.
“Mark’s role in building CSE into one of the leading distributorships in our industry, building one of the most valuable stables of world-famous brands, was nothing short of remarkable,” said Marc Simon, CEO of HALO. “We consider ourselves fortunate to have had the benefit of almost three years of service to HALO in helping us to transition the business and the team to HALO. We greatly appreciate his guidance and leadership.”
Other HALO executives lauded Ziskind’s contributions to the company as well. “We will miss his insight, creativity and commitment,” said Jim Stutz, executive vice president of sales and business development. “He’s a skilled collaborator that has earned the opportunity to enjoy the benefits of retirement.”
Ziskind’s responsibilities have been distributed among other key members of the HALO executive team, according to the company.
For Ziskind, the last 23 years in the promotional products industry have been a blessing. “The friendships, successes and laughs have truly been a gift,” he said. “It has been a privilege and a passion to help create success at CSE and HALO.
Prior to entering the industry, Ziskind held several key brand management and sales positions at Miller Brewing Co.
