The industry firms of PromoStandards, a series of supply chain integration standards aimed at improved efficiencies, has announced that Ashley McCune, president of Facilisgroup, and Michael Conway, executive director of API and integrations of ASI, will join the organization’s board, effective Jan. 1, 2021.

“I am excited to add both Ashley and Michael to our board in 2021,” Jon Norris, current chairman of PromoStandards, said in a press release. “They both bring an in-depth knowledge and expertise of both technology and our ever-evolving industry to the PromoStandards boardroom.”

McCune is replacing Chuck Fandos, who has served as a board member from the beginning and helped launch the PromoStandards organization. “Since its inception, PromoStandards has lived its mission to create industry-leading open standards that enable our industry to improve the customer’s experience and reduce transactional friction, both of which are essential to growth,” McCune said. “I am honored to join this team to continue to advance that mission through technology standards that can unite and evolve us as a whole.”

Conway previously served as a board member for PromoStandards as a representative for Top 40 supplier Polyconcept North America (PCNA, asi/78897). “I’m thrilled to represent ASI on the board and hope to deliver the ASI perspective to a terrific group of skilled technology leaders who are guiding the industry forward into the digital age,” Conway said.

McCune and Conway join nine other board members who continue to donate their time and resources to advancing industry standards. Additionally, PromoStandards has added 30 members since June of this year.
