Kate Connolly, a multi-line sales representative in the Pacific Northwest region, passed away on September 10. She was 53.

A 25-year veteran of the promotional products industry, Connolly worked for Top 40 suppliers Vantage Apparel (asi/93390) and Chocolate Inn/Lanco (asi/44900), as well as other promo firms, before launching the Kateco Marketing Group in 2014, according to her LinkedIn profile.

Recently, she represented suppliers such as Peerless Umbrella (asi/76730), Maple Ridge Farms (asi/68680), WOWLine (asi/98360), Goodhope Bags (asi/57702), Compass Industries (asi/46170) and Notes Inc. (asi/74357).

“She was a sweet and warm person and was really coming into her own with Peerless,” said Dan Edge, national sales manager at Peerless. “She had a small territory, but always worked hard and took such pride in what she did. She was always happy and eager to help, never missing one of our Friday sales meetings and proud to be part of our team.”

Kate is survived by Destin, friend and ex-husband Scott, and companion Danny Kenny.

A celebration of life will be held at The Bostic Lake Ranch in Redmond, WA, on September 30.
