5 Hot Workwear Markets To Sell Into
Strike while the iron is hot. These five markets are all growing, and you’re already successfully selling them promotional products. Aim now and you’ll outfit them in uniforms that will provide annual returns for years to come.
1. Healthcare is a top market for distributors, making up 11% of their annual sales. Within that market, there are 15.7 million employees who need uniforms, an increase of 2.2% from last year. Target hospitals, physician offices, dentists, outpatient centers, nursing homes and physical therapy facilities.
2. Hospitality can bring value to distributors’ profits as a top ranking sales-maker. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there are 15.8 million people employed in this sector, and it’s growing. In fact, apparel makes up nearly two-thirds of the products distributors sell to these clients. Hotels, casinos, sporting and concert arenas, museums, amusement parks and entertainment venues are a few of the many clients you can outfit in uniforms.
3. Trades represent 13% of sales for distributors, and uniforms can build that number. There are more than 122.9 million jobs in manufacturing, construction, transportation, electrical services, petroleum, coal, plastics, textiles, automotive, engineering and more. Safety matters – and apparel is a key component of protecting workers from harsh job site conditions. When you present garments to address those concerns, you’ve got a solid, recurring order.
