A Promo Moment With Gene Geiger

He's a big fan of pro wrestling, Sour Patch Kids and egg burgers. He's also the CEO of Geiger (asi/202900). Learn a little more about Gene Geiger from the man himself!

When I was younger, I never thought I’d be in the promo products business. I grew up in a blue-collar mill-town in Maine and had hopes of moving overseas to escape the obligations of being the oldest son in a four-generation family business.

I’ve now been in the promo industry for 55 years, and I’ve learned a few things along the way, like there’s not a person who doesn’t love being given the products we sell. The best part about my job is my name is on the building.

Geiger rules the road in this monster truck.

I’m most proud of the Geiger people who’ve given back to the industry. Today, we employ about 350 associates and are represented by 400 salespeople.

If I could get inside the head of one industry person to get some knowledge, I’d pick Chuck Fandos. The reason is Chuck has figured out how to make zillions of dollars working part-time.

Best candy in the world!

I’m a big fan of pro wrestling because it’s totally real, and I get annoyed by people who are rigidly locked into the dogma of their political tribe. The best candy in the world is Sour Patch Kids, my favorite app is DISH Anywhere, and I drive a big-ass Ford F-150 Raptor.

If I had to eat one thing every day for the rest of my life it would be a thick burger covered with an egg over easy on top. If I had to live one place for the rest of my life it would be Japan. If I had to give up one thing for the rest of my life it would be email.

Mmm, burger.

In the future, I hope to stay alive for as long as possible. Let me leave you with this inspirational thought: The greatest lessons are usually learned during the worst of times.

The end!
