With ASI Show Orlando and ASI Show Fort Worth quickly approaching, ASI is urging everyone in the promotional products industry to be on alert for potential scams as suppliers may be beginning to receive email solicitations offering lists for sale.

This situation is neither specific to ASI nor the promotional products industry. Many of the companies who implement these business practices are outside the US, so legal remedies are difficult, but the US tradeshow industry remains diligent in finding a solution.

ASI/ASI Show does not sell our exhibitor or attendee lists to any 3rd party list provider.

ASI supplier members who exhibit at an ASI Show are able to purchase pre-show and/or post-show registration lists, but these lists do not contain email addresses. If you are an exhibitor and wish to send a pre- or post- show email to distributors, we will be happy to deploy the email on your behalf.

The only way any company can get any kind of list of our members is directly from ASI.

If a company sends an email indicating they have a list of our exhibitors or attendees available for sale, and using the ASI Show name specifically, what they are doing is illegal.

Members are advised to not fall victim to these misleading business practices. Please ignore these email solicitations if received.
