Fashion Faceoff: Monica Bates' Lookbook
This year, Wearables has teamed up with Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia and Vantage Apparel to teach the next generation of fashion designers about the world of decorated apparel and promotional products. In our new Fashion Faceoff contest, six juniors from the school's fashion design program have been tasked with creating an original screen-printing or embroidery design for Vantage to produce on one of its blank garments. In addition, the students will be judged on the male and female athleisure looks they've been creating throughout the school year.
The garments will all be runway-ready in time for the school's May fashion show, but right now, they are still works in progress. Check out the below slideshow to see junior Monica Bates' sketches and athleisure looks so far.
