Custom Ink, which specializes in e-commerce sales of custom-printed apparel and other items, has been named among the 2020 “100 Best Companies to Work For” by Fortune Magazine.
BELLA+CANVAS (asi/39590) has launched FAM 2.0, the second iteration of content for online course Fashion Apparel Masterclass (FAM). FAM 2.0 includes video lessons on three new relevant topics, along with interactions, downloadable resources and selling tools.
Alternative Apparel (asi/34850) has collaborated with Nalgene Outdoor for a “Pledge to the Planet” initiative, in which attendees of PROJECT Las Vegas receive a Nalgene reusable water bottle and Alternative Apparel T-shirt for pledging to avoid using single-use plastic for the duration of the event.
Charles River Apparel (asi/44620) released its 2020 Spring collection, consisting of eight new styles and two color additions, as well as the Fanny Pack-N-Go.
Cobmex Apparel (asi/45545) introduced its New Contemporary Collection, consisting of a variety of sweater styles with inspiration taken from current retail trends.
Gildan Activewear Inc. (asi/56842) announced its inclusion in the 2020 SAM Sustainability Yearbook for the eighth consecutive year. Gildan received a Bronze Class distinction signifying that it achieved a mark between 5% to 10% of the top scores in the textiles, apparel and luxury goods industry.
HanesBrands (asi/59528) recently reported that it increased total global sales across all its business channels for full-year 2019 to nearly $6.97 billion, a 2.4% annual jump. Net income was up 11.3% to $600.72 million. Basic earnings per share were $1.65, up from $1.48 in 2018. Diluted earnings per share were $1.64, also up from $1.48.

Roland DGA announces that Amado Lara has been promoted to sales director, overseeing sales in North and South America. Previously, Lara was the director of sales for Latin America at Roland. Signs and graphics industry veteran Dave Edmondson has joined Roland DGA as director of business development and product management.
