Proforma Creates Program to Attract Young Professionals

Top 40 distributor Proforma (asi/300094) created a new program to encourage young professionals to enter the promotional products industry. Introduced at the company’s recent annual convention in Las Vegas, Proforma Under 40 will provide education, resources and programs to help participants maximize their success.

“We are very excited to help lead the way in our industry by expanding awareness of the exciting opportunities for young professionals in printing, promotional products and packaging distribution,” said Greg Muzzillo, Proforma founder. “Many young professionals are not aware that our industry even exists, despite seeing and using a variety of print and promotional products every day.”

The Proforma Under 40 inaugural committee, made up of young Proforma owners, will be working closely with company leadership to create unique experiences for young professionals to accelerate their success. Roger Casey, chairman of the new committee and owner of Casey Creative Powered by Proforma, will also participate in the Owner Advisory Council, an elected group of Proforma owners who collaborate on new ideas for the company. The connection between the two groups will help Proforma sharpen its focus on recruiting young talent, according to the company.

Counselor ranked Proforma as the fourth-largest distributor in the industry, with 2017 revenue of $368.9 million. The company boasts of having 12 of its owners named on the INC. 5000, the business magazine’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
