Cintas (asi/162167) has announced it plans to start construction on its new facility in Delta Township, MI. The new facility will be a 55,000-square-foot operation that will add approximately 60 jobs. Hiring for positions will begin in late 2019.

The collaborative patterns will be used in a men’s vest, cardigan, camp shirt and swim trunk and in a women’s serape poncho, dress, blouse, swimwear and activewear. The patterns will also appear on blankets, coffee mugs and more. The fabrics for the collection will be made exclusively in Pendleton’s own Pacific Northwest mills.

Terry Town (asi/90913) has announced it will open a new, larger, state-of-the-art facility in Southern California on October 12. “This new facility will allow us to support and manage our rapid growth by adding increased inventory and additional decorating equipment and technology,” said Jeff Erdogmus, operations director. Terry Town will be closed on October 11 and will reopen for normal operating hours on October 12.

Epson announced a new direct-to-garment pretreatment solution for polyester garments is available for its SureColor F2000 and F2100 DTG printers. “To date, the direct-to-garment industry has been limited to printing on 100% cotton or cotton-polyester blends,” says Timothy Check, senior product manager. “This new polyester pretreatment solution will open opportunities for direct-to-garment printing and customization for new industries, as well as open doors to on-site garment customization at sporting events – everything from neighborhood runs to national triathlons.”
Roland DGA Corp. announced the release of VersaWorks 6 RIP and print management software for its inkjet printers and printer/cutters. The new software builds upon the core functions and user-friendliness of Roland’s previous RIP, incorporating a new HARLEQUIN RIP dual-core engine and other improvements to increase performance and ease of use, according to the company. GSG has acquired the assets of Spectrum Screen Printing Supplies, based in Milwaukee. The transaction is expected to close Oct. 26. “We’re excited to take their knowledge and expertise and add our unique resources,” says Mark Granberry, president and CEO of Dallas-based GSG.
