Interview With ASI Power Summit Keynote Speaker Dan Thurmon
As a speaker, Dan Thurmon is as unique as they come. Yes, his life-changing messages on performance and excellence have resonated with Fortune 500 companies and earned him a spot in the Speakers Hall of Fame. But it’s his distinctive, acrobatic presentation style – featuring juggling, gymnastics and even a unicycle – that sets him apart.
In this exclusive podcast with the keynote speaker for the upcoming ASI Power Summit, Thurmon reveals the inspiration for combining his performance talents with his interest in fostering success. He also discusses why perfect work-life balance isn’t attainable and why you should connect the various parts of your life instead of trying to compartmentalize them.
“It’s the wrong goal, it’s the impossible goal,” Thurmon says of the notion of achieving work-life balance. “You never achieve balance, because balance isn’t what you ever get. Balance is what you do. You are balancing – making adjustments and choices, and managing your focus in the midst of turmoil.”
Thurmon will deliver the keynote address at The ASI Power Summit in Coronado, CA on October 28.
