Neil Ringel, who joined Counselor Top 40 supplier PCNA five years ago, slides four spots on this year’s Counselor Power 50 list after the supplier reported a 19% decline in revenue in 2023. Under Ringel’s direction, the New Kensington, PA-based company has launched multiple high-profile initiatives this year. Givee Select is an online platform that streamlines personalized gifting. PCNA+ is the company’s new loyalty and rewards program geared specifically toward small and medium-sized distributors. And in July PCNA partnered with fellow Counselor Top 40 supplier Cap America (asi/43792) and added 10 new headwear styles to its offering.

In addition, “our environmental and social responsibility initiatives remain central to our mission,” says Ringel. As he points out, the supplier carried just 19 eco-friendly products five years ago. Currently through the company’s ProudPath program, it offers over 600 sustainable products, including nearly three dozen retail brands that have eco-friendly attributes or charitable give-back components.
