Melissa Ralston Leaving Koozie Group, Trish Daly Becomes VP of Sales

Executives at the Top 40 supplier said they are confident of a “smooth transition.”

Melissa Ralston is calling it a day on her time with Top 40 supplier Koozie Group (asi/40480).

Ralston, the firm’s chief revenue officer and a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people, will be leaving the Florida-based firm effective May 31.

Koozie Group hasn’t named a direct replacement for Ralston. However, the firm noted that, as part of the transition, Trish Daly has been named vice president of sales and is joining the company’s executive staff. Daly has been with Koozie Group and Norwood, a firm Koozie acquired, for almost 30 years combined. She will report directly to CEO Pierre Montaubin, a Power 50 member.

Koozie Group said its executive leadership team has 100+ years of experience and is confident of a smooth transition. “There are no changes to the senior leaders in customer operations and marketing, who will now report to the chief operating officer and CEO, respectively,” Koozie Group said.

Ralston believes good things are ahead for Koozie Group. “The right people and processes are in place, and as I step away, I am confident that Koozie Group is well-positioned for continued growth and success,” she said.

Pierre Montaubin“As (Melissa) moves on to her next personal and professional chapters, we are grateful for all of her contributions.” Pierre Montaubin, Koozie Group

Montaubin said Ralston has been instrumental in leading Koozie Group forward, especially when it comes to “establishing an operational infrastructure that positions us exceptionally well to accelerate our growth trajectory…As she moves on to her next personal and professional chapters, we are grateful for all of her contributions.”

Ralston joined Koozie Group, then known as BIC Graphic North America, in 2014 as a senior marketing manager. She later rose to chief marketing officer and then, in 2021, was promoted to chief revenue officer, leading the Top 40 supplier’s sales and marketing teams.

When Montaubin became CEO in August 2023, Ralston’s role expanded to include direct leadership of customer service, too. Her achievements include playing a lead role in the launch and development of “Keep it. Give it.,” Koozie Group’s sustainability/corporate social responsibility program.

During her career, Ralston has worked with brands such as Chris-Craft, Publix Supermarkets and Sports Authority and commercialized products for customers that include Amazon, Macy’s and the Army & Air Force Exchange Service. She’s been an active volunteer in promo, serving as an advisor to ASI Media’s editorial team and, among other roles, was an at-large director on the board of directors of Promotional Products Association International.

Based on reported 2022 North American promotional products revenue of $317 million, Koozie Group ranked seventh on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest suppliers in the industry.
