Top 40 supplier Vantage Apparel (asi/93390) is making progress for the environment. Vantage Apparel (asi/93390) employees participated in a beach cleanup as part of their ongoing partnership with nonprofit Clean Ocean Action.

“At Vantage Apparel, we understand the importance of environmental responsibility, and we are committed to making a positive difference,” said CEO Rob Watson. “Our contribution to Clean Ocean Action is a testament to our dedication to sustainable business practices and the preservation of our planet for future generations.”

In 2021, Vantage launched its Earthwise collection featuring performance styles, most of which are made with Repreve, a high-quality polyester made from recycled plastic water bottles. Distributors have helped to recycle over 1.5 million water bottles since the launch of the collection. Vantage also makes a donation to Clean Ocean Action for each purchase from the collection.

Vantage Apparel chose Clean Ocean Action, a 1% for the Planet member, as its charitable partner, recognizing the organization’s tireless efforts to preserve and protect the world’s oceans and coastlines. In addition to its annual monetary donations to Clean Ocean Action, the supplier also volunteers in beach cleanup events every year.

Cindy Zipf, executive director of Clean Ocean Action, expressed excitement over Vantage Apparel’s continued support, adding that the organization would use its donations “to implement impactful projects, organize educational programs and contribute to the ongoing research aimed at safeguarding marine ecosystems.”

Vantage Apparel ranks 39th on Counselor’s most recent list of the industry’s largest suppliers, with 2022 North American promotional products revenue of $49 million.
