Blink Marketing Logistics Hires Industry Vets Marty Engel & Matt Rosenbaum

The duo previously worked together at Counselor Top 40 distributor Corporate Imaging Concepts.

Blink Marketing Logistics (asi/143642) in Perrysburg, OH, has added two promo industry veterans to its roster to help the technology-driven marketing services firm scale in sales and operations.

The promotional products distributor brought Marty Engel onboard as chief operating officer and Matt Rosenbaum as the vice president of branded merchandise strategy.

CEO Lee Dunn expressed excitement at Engel’s new role. “His impressive track record in sales and operations fills me with great confidence for our future,” he added. “Marty’s entrepreneurial spirit, client focus and operational expertise will be key in driving us to achieve our ambitious growth targets over the next five years.”

Engel’s career includes highlights at a number of Counselor Top 40 firms. He spent about 15 years at distributor Cary Francis Group (asi/158924), where he was co-founding partner and eventually the executive vice president. He had a six-year tenure at Counselor Top 40 distributor Corporate Imaging Concepts (CIC, asi/168962), serving as vice president of sales and business development. Most recently, he was executive vice president of sales at former Top 40 distributor Touchstone (asi/345631).

In his new role, Engel hired Rosenbaum, whom he worked with at CIC. “I’m thrilled to partner with Matt once again, confident that Blink offers the tools and support he needs to achieve remarkable success,” Engel said. “With his passion and commitment to both associates and customers, I have no doubt that Matt will hit the ground running and lead his team to new heights.”

Rosenbaum spent just over a decade as a field sales manager at Counselor Top 40 supplier PCNA (asi/66887). Then, he spent eight years at CIC, starting as a national account manager and rising to senior director of business development for channel partnerships.

Dunn said that with these investments in personnel and systems, he expects the branded merch portion of Blink Marketing Logistics to be positioned for significant growth in the near future. “We have the technology and infrastructure in place to support all opportunities,” he added.
