SnugZ USA Appoints Alex Barberis as Chief Technology Officer
Barberis joins the Counselor Top 40 supplier with a background that includes time at BEL Promo and Amazon.
Counselor Top 40 supplier SnugZ USA (asi/88060) has named a new top tech executive.
The West Jordan, UT-headquartered company has appointed Alex Barberis to the position of chief technology officer.
Barberis’ professional background includes about six years at BEL USA, parent company of BEL Promo (asi/39552) and Counselor Top 40 distributor DiscountMugs.com (asi/181120), where he was chief technology officer for nearly three years.
He was also previously a software development manager at Amazon, where he worked on products in the music streaming and automotive spaces.
“Alex’s extensive background in technology and management will be instrumental in driving SnugZ USA’s growth and technological advancements and will propel our organization into the future,” said SnugZ CEO Brandon Mackay, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people.
Barberis, a native of Miami, FL, currently resides in Atlanta. Educated at Florida International University, Barberis has served as managing partner of Smpl Software, a technical consulting and advisory services company.
