HALO’s National Sales Meeting Generates Record Attendance

The Counselor Top 40 distributor said more than 700 people flocked to the Break Through Summit in Miami Beach.

Counselor Top 40 distributor HALO Branded Solutions (asi/356000) says it set a company record with its annual national sales meeting in late June.

The Sterling, IL-headquartered promotional products company shared that HALO account executives, sales teams, industry suppliers, leadership and staff tallied more than 700 at the Break Through Summit, held June 22 through June 26 at Loews Beach Hotel in Miami Beach, FL. That’s the highest attendance for the event.

“Break Through Summit 2024 showcased our commitment to collaboration, innovation and reaching new heights,” said HALO CEO Marc Simon, a member of Counselor’s Power 50 list of promo’s most influential people. “The energy from our team throughout the week was truly inspiring. Together, we are setting new standards in the promotional products industry, and I am excited about the opportunities ahead.”

HALO said that 167 suppliers exhibited at the meeting’s corresponding trade show. There were also 60 “impression sessions,” which spotlighted particular products and trends. Networking was encouraged with evening social events that included a beach party at Nikki Beach.

Networking/socializing were a key part of the national sales meeting, executives said.

Notably, Break Through Summit featured what executives described as the event’s inaugural HALO Women’s Leadership Power Hour. More than 200 attendees came to discuss leadership opportunities, professional growth and work-life balance.

Based on reported 2022 North American promotional product revenue of just over $1 billion, HALO ranked second on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry. In April, the firm acquired Wisconsin-based distributorship Star Promotions (asi/334909).
