Hirsch Names New Director of Marketing
George Morgan brings to the Texas-based supplier experience in driving marketing results.
Good energy and bigtime growth potential.
Those are two big reasons George Morgan said he decided to join the promotional products industry – particularly as director of marketing for Houston-based Hirsch (asi/61005), a family-owned supplier that specializes in providing retail brands to the merch sector.
“Not being from the industry originally, I am just amazed by the growth opportunity that not only Hirsch has, but also the entire promo market as a whole,” Morgan told ASI Media. “I’m excited to bring my own experience and skillset to the team.”
At Hirsch, Morgan’s responsibilities will include helping to drive revenue growth through marketing campaigns and partnering closely with the internal sales team and multi-line reps to create assets that propel strong results.
Morgan has held marketing leadership positions in a variety of verticals. He was most recently director of sales and marketing for Adonis Auto Group.
Past roles include associate executive vice president at the Houston Building Owners & Managers Association, director of communications at MyFitFoods, and associate director/marketing project manager at alliantgroup (tax and business consulting). He’s also a recently retired semi-professional competitive paintball player.
“Having been in marketing executive roles in the past, I’ve always been an end user for promotional products, and they never fail to be incredibly fun projects,” Morgan told ASI Media. “The prospect of being on the supplier side of things is very exciting.”
Hirsch has been busy making personnel moves of late. The firm promoted Brittany Frase from director of sales and marketing to vice president of sales in May.
