RED Promotions Merges With MadeToOrder; $30M in Revenue Projected
RED will operate as “RED Promotions, A MadeToOrder Company.” No immediate changes to business operations are planned.
A just-announced merger between two West Coast distributors has the firms forecasting a combined $30 million in revenue in 2024.
As executives described it, Bellevue, WA-based RED Promotions (asi/590025), a 2024 Counselor Best Place To Work, has “joined forces” with California-based MadeToOrder (asi/259540), a firm helmed by CEO Sandy Gonzalez, Counselor’s 2021 Woman of Distinction.
RED will now go to market as “RED Promotions, A MadeToOrder Company.” No immediate changes to business operations are planned.
“We couldn't be more excited to partner with RED Promotions,” Gonzalez said. “Our combined expertise and resources will enable us to deliver more innovative, high-quality products and services for our clients, while also creating new opportunities for our employee owners.” MadeToOrder is an employee-owned company, operating on an Employee Stock Ownership Plan model (ESOP).
Like Gonzales, RED Promotions CEO Shelley Stewart believes the new partnership will be a win for each firm – and their collective client base. “Both companies share a dedication to excellence, innovation and customer satisfaction, and together, we can achieve even greater success,” Stewart said.
Executives shared with ASI Media that they’re projecting approximately $30 million in total revenue in 2024.
Gonzalez and Stewart will remain in leadership, driving growth strategies and execution, according to a statement. “The primary focus remains on providing exceptional service to clients and maintaining a positive work environment for employee owners,” the distributorship said.
Founded in 2008, female-led and -operated RED Promotions has provided promotional product solutions for clients that range from small businesses to Fortune 100 companies. The firm ranked fourth on Counselor’s Best Places To Work list this year, with employees saying that the three words that best describe the distributorship are “present,” “service-obsessed” and “family.”
Founded in 1989, MadeToOrder works with range of companies and industries it described as “Fortune 100 to high-flying start-ups.” MadeToOrder became employee-owned in 2018. The firm is a founding partner of Reciprocity Road, an alliance of distributors across the U.S. and Canada that has a focus on philanthropic endeavors.
