Rupt Names Chief Strategy Officer

Ben Jablow, who has technology leadership experience inside and outside the promo industry, is joining the Austin, TX-headquartered supplier.

Rupt (asi/84203) says it just added talent to its C-suite.

The Austin, TX-based supplier has hired Ben Jablow as chief strategy officer. Bringing a background in technology/business leadership to the role, Jablow will be focused on spearheading strategic initiatives that help drive what executives described as Rupt’s desired rapid expansion.

Jablow said he’s excited to join Rupt because of the opportunities he foresees and because of the supplier’s position on sustainability. Rupt’s product line features items made entirely from recycled materials, including drinkware, tech gadgets and backpacks, with packaging designed for repurposing. Products, executives say, are carbon neutral.

“Joining Rupt presents a unique opportunity to merge my passion for technology with a commitment to sustainability,” Jablow said in a statement. “Together, we will push industry boundaries and deliver solutions that continue to impress distributors.”

Jablow’s professional background includes serving as vice president and general manager, integrations and alliances, at CareerBuilder. Other past roles include being chief revenue officer at staffing/recruiting firm Hunt Club, where he worked on a scalable sales model that included demand generation, business sales engagement, and pipeline management.

For about four years, Jablow was vice president of business development and strategic alliances at Postal.io (asi/297405), a gifting automation platform that helps businesses personalize and send direct mail, gifts and branded merch. Hired pre-launch, Jablow has said his focus was on building the Postal marketplace, vendor network and fulfillment/distribution models.

“Ben’s track record of driving revenue growth, launching innovative products and fostering a culture of innovation will be instrumental in advancing our mission to change the narrative of the promotional products industry,” said Jason Lucash, CEO and co-founder of Rupt.

Lucash and business partner Mike Szymczak launched Rupt in early 2024. The longtime friends are also the founders of supplier Origaudio, a firm they ultimately sold to Top 40 supplier HPG (asi/61966) and later exited.
