American Solutions for Business Hosts Annual ‘Accelerate’ Event
Pros from the Top 40 distributor met with 28 suppliers in suite-style meetings and social events over the course of four days.
Face-to-face networking, professional education, and ultimately discovering ways to generate mutual success were all part of American Solutions for Business’ (ASB, asi/120075) annual Accelerate conference, executives at the Top 40 distributorship said.
Held May 20 through May 23 at the Embassy Suites and Convention Center in St. Charles, MO, Accelerate brought together 80 ASB attendees and 28 suppliers in suite-style meetings and social events.
The distributorship noted that there was a “New Patriot Pavilion” that afforded ASB sales associates an extra platform to connect with suppliers recently added to the firm’s patriot program – a kind of preferred vendor list.
“The support of vendor partners, sales associates and the home office team led to a great Accelerate,” said Dana Zezzo, ASB’s vice president of vendor relations, marketing and events.
Zezzo shared that Accelerate aims to help qualifying salespeople grow their business and better serve their customers. That effort began with networking and learning in the supplier meetings and extended beyond them.
There was a social at the Anheuser-Busch Biergarten and a facility tour of Top 40 supplier Cap America (asi/43792), followed by an offsite dinner. Meanwhile, ASB also generated $5,500 for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of St. Louis. “Attendees generously donated to support families during their stay at RMHC and the ongoing growth of this organization,” ASB said.
Based on reported 2022 North American promotional product revenue of $273.6 million, American Solutions for Business ranked 12th on Counselor’s most recent list of the largest distributors in the industry. The new list is due out this summer.
